SpeedFam, a global leader of polishing equipment and other advanced machines, announces that Akio Terayama who has been the president representative director of SpeedFam Clean System (precision cleaner subsidiary) will assume a new position as SpeedFam's president representative director from 1st October 2009.

With new president, SpeedFam would like to extend product and customer support to meet customers' demand quickly. Akio Terayama will remain the president of cleaner division, and Masashi Nigahara, current President of SpeedFam, will continue as a member of SpeedFam Board of Director until December 2009.
